A major new neighborhood is taking shape in north Mt. Juliet, and its size makes it one of the residential projects worth watching closely.

Treymor, a John Wieland Homes community developed by PulteGroup, is under construction at 122 Treymor Drive near the Benders Ferry Road area.

The project is planned for 349 homes across roughly 317 acres.

For residents, the scale matters because hundreds of new homes can influence traffic, school enrollment, nearby services and the pace of growth in north Mt. Juliet.

The builder currently lists homes starting in the mid-$600,000s, with designs ranging from roughly 2,400 square feet to more than 4,000 square feet.

Plans include homes with two to six bedrooms and a variety of customizable layouts.

The neighborhood is also planned with a substantial amenity package.

Published project details include an outdoor pool, cabanas, pickleball courts, a dog park, community garden, walking trails, an amenity center, picnic areas and additional recreation space.

Those features are designed to make Treymor more than a collection of houses, but the larger community impact will depend on how the full buildout unfolds over time.

The development also includes a large amount of open space, with earlier project announcements describing about 166 acres set aside for open areas and amenities.

Model homes and early listings are already active, and construction has moved beyond the planning stage.

That shift from proposal to active construction is the point when a development becomes much more visible to nearby residents.

North Mt. Juliet has been one of the city’s growth areas, especially along corridors connected to Benders Ferry Road and Old Hickory Lake.

New residential development can bring more customers to nearby businesses and support future services, while also increasing pressure on roads and infrastructure.

For residents already living nearby, traffic and access are likely to be among the most immediate questions as homes are completed and occupied.

The city has been working on transportation improvements in the broader area, making Treymor part of a larger conversation about how Mt. Juliet manages growth while trying to preserve quality of life.

Home prices, availability and construction timelines can change, so buyers should rely on current builder information rather than older announcements.

Around Mount Juliet will continue tracking major residential projects after the ceremonial grand-opening stage, including how quickly homes are built, what infrastructure changes follow and what residents experience as neighborhoods fill in.

Treymor’s location also places it close to existing neighborhoods that will experience the growth before the development is fully built out.

That makes construction traffic, road access and the timing of infrastructure improvements important issues to watch alongside home sales.

Large residential projects unfold over years, not weeks, so the community impact will become clearer in stages.

Early model-home activity and listings show that the sales phase is already underway even as broader construction continues.

For nearby residents, the key question is how quickly new households arrive compared with road, school and service capacity.

For prospective buyers, the questions are different: lot availability, pricing, build timelines and which amenities are open when homes are delivered.

Around Mount Juliet will track both sides of that story as Treymor moves from construction project to occupied neighborhood.

Because pricing, available lots and completion dates can shift as construction progresses, residents and buyers should treat current figures as a snapshot rather than a permanent promise.
